BANDAI SPIRITS has released the action figure "Soul of Chogokin GX-117 Mazinger Z (Reinforced Type) Kakumei Shinka"! Pre-orders will begin on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at general stores.
The head and arms have been newly sculpted to match the design drawings from the later stages of the "Mazinger Z" program. Equipped with the "Jet Pilder", "Iron Cutter", "Drill Missile" and "Late-Type Jet Scrander", the strongest form of Mazinger Z is now available in "Kakushin".
Includes newly sculpted arms equipped with iron cutters and drill missiles. Both arms equipped with iron cutters can be fired. The elbow equipped with a drill missile can be bent to reveal a launch hole for the drill missile. Also, pay attention to the late-model Jet Sclander, which has a launch hole for the Southern Cross Knife, a newly equipped weapon, on the wing. The main wing can be recreated as forward and reverse wings by replacing the launch hole parts for the Southern Cross Knife. Also, by replacing the abdominal armor, a missile punch launcher appears. Missiles can be fired with the switch on the back.
The Jet Pilder is also included with a new design. The wings can be deployed and retracted, and Koji Kabuto can be seen inside the clear parts of the cockpit. The Jet Pilder combines with the magnets in the head. The head is a completely new design based on the design drawings that were redrawn later in the show.
