From the anime "Mobile Police Patlabor," the black Labor, TYPE-J9 Griffon, makes its debut in the "ACKS" series as a 1/43 scale model!
Under the supervision of Yutaka Izubuchi, this latest version of the Griffon boasts meticulous attention to proportion. Similar to the AV-98 Ingram Unit 1/Unit 2, the sealing covers on various parts of the aircraft are realistically designed and reproduced using plastic. Combined with the built-in joints, this allows for the recreation of scenes from the anime where the Griffon excels in close combat. The cockpit hatch can be opened without the need for part swapping, and the wrists and ankles feature pull-out mechanisms, achieving a high degree of articulation without compromising the sculpt.
Five different hand parts are included to recreate the Griffon's impressive battle scenes, including the memorable thumbs-up pose from the series. The packaging features an original illustration by Shinichi Hagiwara, who has worked on various mecha illustrations. The packaging itself is luxurious and stands on its own as package art.
