Japan's "Mobile Suit Gundam" official Gunpla flagship store GUNDAM BASE today announced the latest product "HG 1/144 G Ego (Perfect Backpack Equipment Type)" from the 10th anniversary anime "Gundam Reconguista in G" (Gundam Theatrical Version ) Reconguista in G Ver.) will be sold in stores on October 26, 2024.
The G self equipped with a perfect backpack is an enhanced form that appears in the later part of the story. This special backpack developed by the Venus Cluster integrates the characteristics of six past backpacks: atmospheric, cosmic, reflective, dexterous, high-torque, and assault. It has multiple functions in one body and can switch functions instantly as the battle situation changes. It is also equipped with a variety of powerful weapons such as photon torpedoes, omnidirectional beams, photon detection... etc. Among them, the photon torpedo can transfer the energy generated after the target is annihilated back to the body for use.
