A new color variation featuring striking black and gold coloring has been released for the Voltron action figure! Based on the popular 1980s anime series Voltron, we have started offering the "Robo-Dou Voltron (Black x Gold Version)".
Like the already released standard color version, "Robo-Dou Voltron (Black x Gold Version)" is a non-scale fully articulated figure that stands approximately 27cm (10.6 inches) tall in Voltron form and has a die-cast inner frame. This redecorated color scheme maintains the retro look while highlighting the mecha's details with a striking black and gold finish.
Threezero's development team took great care in recreating this classic robot, Voltron. "Robo-Dou Voltron (Black x Gold Version)" maintains the retro look while realizing a wider range of motion and a more reliable combination mechanism. "Robo-Dou Voltron (Black x Gold Version)" consists of five lion mechas, which can be separated into lion form and combined into Voltron form. All five lion mechas are fully movable figures, partially using die-cast metal parts for movable parts. After combining the five, the whole body has 124 movable parts. In addition to the weapons for Voltron form, a weapon set exclusive to each lion mecha is also included.
