's son Ford travels to Japan to help his estranged father. The latter noticed anomalies from various anomalies and was obsessed with going deep into the forbidden area to find the truth. They discovered that
the source of the disaster hidden under the ruins was a huge chrysalis. Humanity is facing an ancient catastrophe, and Dr. Serizawa believes that only Godzilla has the ability to restore the balance of nature.
