Rumei (?-1612), the name Ziqing, was the fifth son of the famous general Li Chengliang.
He was accustomed to bow horses since he was a child. By the father Yin Lidu commanded the errands, the general soldiers, etc., and finally went to the Zuofu errands. In the twenty-fourth year of Wanli (1596), Li Rumei traveled 300 li out of the fortress, smashed the Mengtai Ning Department's fried flowers and won, and was the governor of Jin. After Japan invaded Korea, the Ming court assisted, Li Rumei joined the expedition to Japan and served as the deputy commander-in-chief of the Imperial Japanese Army to help her brother Li Rusong send troops to aid the DPRK.
In the battle of Bihokan, he first shot the Japanese daimyo Tachibana Zongshige's general servant with poison arrows for ten o'clock. During the ensuing fierce battle, the Japanese pirates surrounded the Ming army coach Li Rusong who had strayed into the battlefield. A golden armor general led the Japanese pirates to kill Li Rusong, Li Rumei shot him again, and the Japanese pirates scattered, thus saving the situation and winning. He was subsequently promoted to the commander of the Imperial Japanese Army. Participated in the battle of Ulsan, served as a pioneer officer, and had many military exploits.
In the twenty-sixth year of Wanli (1598), a minister in the court impeached him for fear of the enemy and was dismissed from office. Later, it was moved to Zuofu. Wanli forty years (1612) died.
