World-renowned Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys has unveiled a new product themed around the movie "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith"—the "Anakin Skywalker (Concept Art) Artisan Edition" 1/6 scale collectible action figure. The suggested retail price is HK$2,580, and only 500 sets will be available in Hong Kong (overseas distribution details to be announced later). Pre-orders will be exclusively available at the "Star Wars: Little Gugu's Adventures in the Big Galaxy" event held at the 2nd floor atrium of AIRSIDE in Kai Tak, Hong Kong!
This Anakin Skywalker concept art uses the concept art design created by renowned concept artist Iain McCaig for Anakin during the film's production. The red and purple black robe symbolizes his inevitable fall into the dark side, showcasing a powerful and sinister aura that differs from his appearance in the film!
The figure stands approximately 31 cm tall and is exquisitely sculpted to perfectly recreate the facial features of actor Hayden Christensen. His angry expression after falling to the dark side is meticulously depicted. The figure features independently movable eyes for fine-tuning the gaze, and comes with interchangeable deep blue eyes and red eyes (as seen in his fallen state), providing a more complete display option! This Artisan Edition further enhances the realism by using premium wool to recreate Anakin's long, curly hair with superb hair implantation techniques!
The costume features a black samurai outfit underneath, crafted from a composite material of leather and elastic fibers. The outer red-purple black robe incorporates details such as a chain at the chest and wire stitching along the sides, allowing for adjustable flow and movement. Accessories include multiple interchangeable hands, a standard lightsaber hilt, and a lightsaber hilt with LED illumination. It also features red and blue standard and motion-blurred lightsaber effects, fully showcasing Anakin's character transformation.
