The popular monster "One-horned Super Beast Bakishimu" from the special effects series "Ultraman Ace" is now available in CCP JAPAN's "1/6 Special Effects Series" soft vinyl figure! It is scheduled to be released in June 2025, and reservations will be accepted at hobby shops, mass retailers, and online shops nationwide!
The "1/6 Special Effects Series" has recreated Bakishim, who appeared in episode 3 of "Ultraman Ace", "Burn! Super Beast Hell", in the pose of the scene where he fires his flamethrower, one of the most memorable scenes in the show! During production, the statue was compared many times with footage and reference materials from the show, and the proportions were thoroughly considered when creating the sculpture. It beautifully expresses the unique form that Yapool created by combining a caterpillar and a space monster, as well as the vivid body color with a strong contrast of blue and orange.
The wrinkles and scratches on the suit, which show the damage that would have been sustained during the filming process, are all recreated. The distinctive eyes are carved with radar-like detail, and the crystals on the back are made of the same clear material as the eyes to recreate their transparency. The elegant crystalline form reminiscent of minerals has also been recreated in full detail. The coloring was also based on materials that contained photographs from the time, and even the dirt that accumulated during the fight with Ultraman Ace has been thoroughly recreated. Sand stains and other imperfections have been recreated with paint, creating a realistic texture that evokes the fierce battle.
The biggest feature of this item is its size. It is designed to be paired with Ultraman Ace from the "1/6 Special Effects Series" and is a massive 38cm tall x 46cm long x 21cm wide. It represents the massive body of Bakishim, which is one of the larger super beasts, standing 60m tall and weighing 78,000t. It can stand on its own, but it also comes with a special pedestal to support the easy transformation that is unique to soft vinyl!
