"Gurren Lagann" that appears in the popular anime "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann", which celebrated its 15th anniversary since the release of the movie version, is now available as a commercial product from BANDAI SPIRITS Collector's Division's popular alloy toy "Soul of Chogokin"! Reservations will begin on November 21, 2023 (Tuesday) as a general in-store product, and it is scheduled to be released in April 2024.
The main mecha "Gurren Lagann" is a combination of Simon's "Lagann" and Kamina's "Gurren". This item is an alloy toy made using die-casting, and has been thoroughly reproduced down to the smallest detail, such as the solid appearance unique to the aircraft and the form reminiscent of armor. And, the giant drill that can reproduce the representative special move "Giga Drill Break" is equipped with a rotating gimmick. By turning the gear and rotating the drill, you can enjoy a more realistic and cool "Gurren Lagann" at hand!
In addition to Giga Drill Break, it comes with a variety of optional parts such as regular drill, Glen Wing, Glen Boomerang, and Full Drill Rise. By using each weapon part and replacement wrist parts, various action poses can be perfectly determined.
Furthermore, it is also possible to display "Gurren" and "Lagann" before "Gurren Lagann" is combined. Simon and Kamina minifigures are also included. (*Kamina minifigure cannot be removed from the cockpit.)
