Bandai's soft vinyl "Movie Monster Series" is here, allowing you to recreate famous scenes from the 1974 film "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla"! Pre-orders will begin on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at 4 p.m. on Premium Bandai!
The "Movie Monster Series" is a series of soft vinyl figures that feature realistically sculpted and painted monsters from past Godzilla films. From this series comes a set of two figures: the "Fake Godzilla," a Godzilla lookalike from "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla," and the "Mechagodzilla (1974) Appearance Scene Image Ver.", which depicts the moment Mechagodzilla, his true form, first appeared!
Fake Godzilla
While it looks just like Godzilla (1974), it has a three-dimensional representation of the right arm with its outer skin peeled off after an attack. The right arm part has an impressive "exposed mechanism" and the color range and tone have been adjusted to match the image in the movie, so even those who own the separately sold "Godzilla (1974)" can enjoy comparing the two.

This version is based on the moment when the fake Godzilla burns off its temporary skin and reveals its true form, made of space metal. The arms and lower body are molded in a clear color with a large amount of glitter and have a gradation paint finish, recreating the scene where it is enveloped in light and revealed as it is bathed in the glare of flames! In addition, compared to the separately sold "Mechagodzilla (1974)", it is painted in a darker color overall, expressing the heavy image of Mechagodzilla towering in the darkness of the night.
This product also works with other products in the series that have already been released! By combining it with the separately sold products "Movie Monster Series Godzilla (1974)" and "Movie Monster Series Mechagodzilla (1974)" (※) that are currently on sale at the Godzilla Store, you can recreate the world of "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla" with Moubimon!
