Bandai Candy, the candy toy division of Bandai, announced a new product based on the robot action shooting game "MechWarrior Mercenaries VI: Boundary Fire," titled "MechWarrior Mercenaries VI: Boundary Fire Costume Collection Vol.01 Basic Color Set," scheduled for release in September 2026. This product will be exclusively available through Bandai's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
MechWarriors VI: Skyfire is the latest installment in the MechWarriors series, developed by From Software, marking their return after a ten-year hiatus. The story takes place on the remote planet Rubicon 3, where humanity discovered a mysterious new substance called "Koror." Initially believed to be a new energy source and a catalyst for technological advancement, this discovery instead triggered a catastrophic event that engulfed the entire galaxy. Nearly a century later, the terrifying Koror has become a target for extraterrestrial corporations and resistance groups. Players will once again take on the role of Raven, a mercenary piloting a robot, infiltrating Rubicon and gradually delving into the heart of this storm of conflict.
"MechWarrior Mercenaries VI: Boundary Fire Costume Collection Vol.01" presents several Armored Cores from the game as chibi-style models, approximately 6cm tall, featuring high-density detail and rich colors. It also fully recreates the highly customizable modification system, allowing for the free disassembly and modification of parts such as the head, core, wrists, legs, right arm weapon, left arm weapon, right shoulder weapon, and left shoulder weapon. The first installment will include four popular armors: LOADER 4, Twilight, Steel Mist, and Babytooth.
This version is a complete set including all four mobile suits and their weapons, but the color scheme of all four mobile suits has been changed to the same gray tone, so that the colors can be more consistent when the mobile suits are displayed together or when the parts are mixed and matched. You can even try to paint them yourself.
