DA-123 Varuda Roarer Jaguar Anode Type (Takara Tomy)

TAKARA TOMY, a Japanese toy manufacturer, has announced the release of its latest product in the sci-fi robot-themed transforming and combining toy series " DA-123 Varuda Roarer Jaguar Anode Type," scheduled for July 2026.

The DA-123 Varuda Roarer Jaguar is one of the combat weapons of the alien invaders, the Varda Legion. It possesses a four-legged maneuvering mode as agile as a carnivorous beast, and can also transform into a bipedal fighting mode and a multi-attack mode where the two units separate. Like many weapons in the faction, this machine has two attributes: cathode and anode. It can unleash completely synchronized attacks by combining the two attributes, generate powerful optical defense barriers, and perform other special functions. Furthermore, it can be combined with other units to significantly enhance its performance.

The "DA-123 Varuda Roarer Jaguar Anode Type" is a modified version of the previously released DA-110. It uses precise styling and rich metallic paint to recreate the cool "JAGUAR MODE" beast form. The flexible and movable design of the body, limbs and tail allows for playing with the running, jumping and biting postures like a real beast. The eyes and mouth have a light-gathering design made of transparent parts. The head cockpit can be opened to put in the pilot figure, and there are also unfolding mechanisms for hidden weapons in the abdomen and other parts.

Through its various movable and transformable mechanisms, the Varuda Roarer Jaguar Anode Type can transform from "JAGUAR MODE" into the first upright maneuvering mode "ZAURER MODE" which uses claw attacks, the second upright maneuvering mode "DEATH OGRE MODE" which uses the weapon super magnetorheological wave tail to launch attacks, and the multi-attack mode "DUAL MODE" which separates into two machines from the head and tail.

In addition, it can also be combined with the separately sold "DA-106 Mobile Giant Ghost Type" to form the ultimate enhanced form "JAGUAROID MODE" with a humanoid upper body and a beast-like lower body, achieving a cool posture of wielding two huge spears and charging forward like a centaur.
