HI-METAL R Layzner (Bandai)

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the broadcast of "Blue Comet SPT Layzner," the main mecha from the first half of the story, Layzner, will be joining the "HI-METAL R" series with a completely new sculpt! Pre-orders will begin at general retailers on April 3rd, 2026 (Friday)!

The exterior adopts proportions based on the design drawings by Kunio Okawara. The sense of balance, including the distinctive size of the head, has been thoroughly reproduced. In addition, an LED is installed in the ball joint of the neck, realizing a light-up gimmick for the first time in the history of "HI-METAL R". You can relive the impressive scenes unique to Layzner, the "Blue Comet".

Two figures of the pilot, Eiji, are included. The standing figure of Eiji can be displayed in two different ways by rearranging the parts: one in the ascending/descending position and the other perched on the left shoulder of the Layzner.

The laser rifle weapon has a detachable magazine. The knuckle shots are articulated, and the fingers feature segmented articulation, allowing you to recreate poses from the show without needing to swap parts. The armor on each part can be opened to expose the internal components, allowing you to recreate the heat dissipation state after V-MAX activation.
