Japanese model maker quesQ (キューズＱ) will launch a 1/7 scale model of "Kitagawa Umi" based on the popular anime "Love Dress-Up Dolls". The reference retail price is 19,800 yen and is expected to be released in June 2026!
Kitagawa Umi , the heroine of the Japanese manga "Love Dress-Up Dolls," is a high school girl who loves cosplay and is a classmate of the protagonist, Gojo Aruna. A devoted otaku, she believes cosplay is the ultimate expression of love for a character. After discovering Aruna's tailoring skills, Umi asks her to help her make cosplay costumes and participates in cosplay events together, thus beginning their love story.
quesQ's 1/7 scale model of "Kitagawa Umune" is approximately 25.5 cm tall. It is inspired by the scene in the drama where she comes to Arata's room to cosplay the Black Jade Butterfly Flower. It features Umune's signature school uniform look, with her pleated skirt lifted up to reveal a black high-slit swimsuit underneath, showing it to Gojo. Umune's characteristic ombre hair, painted nails, earrings, and bracelets are carefully recreated, along with her glamour look. The slightly shy expression on her face, her flushed cheeks, and the bold skirt-lifting action are so adorable. Her fair thighs are also a highlight!
