▲ "MG 1/100 High Mobility Type Zaku" Psycho Zaku "Ver. Ka (GUNDAM THUNDERBOLT version)" in a state of state.
As usual it is continuous for several days, but this time we will go with the live format that it will be updated according to the progress. Then thanking you in advance.
First of all, this kit does not divert the traditional MG Zaku! There are some parts diverted, but it is almost new parts configuration. So, I think that it is considered MG Zak made with current technology.
Zaku body. There is also the appeal of Zaku that appeared in "Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt", but as the latest MG Zak, it is also noteworthy in terms of commercialization at Ver.Ka.
It seems it's okay to say that there is no matching eye. It is molded in a good condition, it is divided into parts, there is no stress when you think about painting when you are assembling! So this time it will be the first time I think I will work on completing the element and working on the parts that I want to personally handle. What I thought of organizing is that the style is very good first. Although I am very cool, I personally liked the massive image, so I thought of shaking it in that direction.
First, thicken the arms.
The part of the shoulder sticks a 1 mm plastic plate around the entire circumference and it is 2 mm larger in the up and down front and back and right and left. And the upper arm part was cut off at the center, and the width was increased with a 1 mm plastic plate in between. As for the forearm it is left as it is.
▲ shoulder block. Plastic board of 1 mm is pasted on the whole surface.
▲ The upper arm is widened across the 1 mm plaque.
▲ Arm after work. Left is an example, right is kit element. It will be a very different impression.
And then, although it is the foot, the ground plane is enlarged against the overall silhouette. It is also a plaque here and it is wrapped in all directions and it gets larger by 1 mm each side. I extended the toe only 2 mm.
▲ Ankle made 1 mm thick around the whole circumference. Only the toe tip extends 2 mm.
Since we changed the arm in the last time, this time it will change the leg. Just like thickening your upper arm, I increased 2 mm in width with thick peaches. As a result, rattling occurs to the left and right when wearing on the frame, so the spacers are bitten by 1 mm each side to the frame to eliminate left and right misalignment.
▲ Increase 2 mm width of thick peach. The kit structure on the left and the sample on the right. I got a pretty big impression.
Continued Although it is a flare part of the leg, it is quite large and powerful when it is a kit standard, but personally it made a little smaller. Cut the left and right flare parts shortly close to 1 cm, so as it is boring, paste the plating board on the outer circumference, put a step difference mold, detailed up.
▲ Leg part which also carried out detail up accompanying change of the form.
▲ This is kit structure. In the example, you can see that it is considerably shorter.
Changing the legs is over.
The next is a waist but I felt less detail than other parts, so I added details with a streak carving. I use a tool like a compass called a divider and put even lines along the outer circumference. Putting atari with a divider, I actually carved it with a tagle with a sense of tracing the draft.
▲ Waist added streak carving.
And finally in the chest. This is still in the middle of work but the protrusion of the current cockpit block part was extended 1 mm downward. Now that the apparent center of gravity of the chest falls slightly downwards, you can relax the size of the lower body slightly.
▲ Extend the tip of the T-shaped cockpit block. It becomes the impression that the center of gravity lowered a little.
