The "MODEROID" series of assembly models launched by the Japanese brand MECHA SMILE announced that the latest product "GRIDMAN UNIVERSE Gold Ver." from the animated film "GRIDMAN UNIVERSE" is expected to be released in July 2025. This product is only available in limited quantities at the Good Smile Company online store and Smile Fest 2025 venue.
GRIDMAN is a "super-combined superman" in the animation "SSSS.GRIDMAN". It is a combination of the four support machines GRIDMAN CALIBUR, BATTLE TRACTO MAX, BUSTER BORR, and SKY VITTER transformed by the lightning superman GRIDMAN and the "New Century Junior High School Student". GRIDMAN gains powerful strength, defense and flight capabilities, and can fight against heavyweight monsters that were originally quite difficult to fight.
"MODEROID Full Power Gridman Gold Ver." is based on the previous general version. It has a total height of about 16.5 cm. The parts are replaced with three different shades of gold molding colors, and a new gold color sticker of the same tone is attached to show the posture of the whole body full of power and emitting golden light when performing "GRID FULL End" in the play. The packaging box painting part has also been changed to a full-color gold version.
The content kit is the same as the general version. It can assemble a Gridman action figure about 10 cm tall and four support machines separately. By replacing the combination mechanism of the subsidy parts, it can reproduce the combination of Gridman and a single support machine, the strong combination superman "MAX GRIDMAN", the armed combination superman "BUSTER GRIDMAN", and the sky combination superman "SKY GRIDMAN".
In addition, the four support machines can also reproduce the combined war god "POWERED ZENON" that combines independently. In this form, the legs are equipped with "combination-specific replacement parts" that combine strength, shape and flexibility, and special mask parts for the feet.
