Cthulhu is a cosmic entity represented by the writer Howard Phillips Lovecraft and represented for the first time in the short story The Call of Cthulhu, published in the American magazine Weird Tales in 1928. Considered an Ancient One among the cosmic entities, the creature has since appeared in numerous popular culture references. Cthulhu is described as the convergence of an octopus, a dragon, and a cartoon in human form.
The literary universe of cosmic horror (mainly between 1921 and 1935) and developed around Cthulhu by Lovecraft himself and other writers of the Lovecraft Circle are known as Cthulhu myths. Prophecies say that when the cosmic cycle ends the great Cthulhu will awaken from his torpor in R'lyeh and rule the earth and destroy everyone who did not mention the words: "Cthulhu R'lyeh Ph'nglui mglw'nafh wgah'nagl fhtagn "before the great Cthulhu.
Now the illustrator starshadowmagic gives a return to the Cyhulhu myth turning her into a charming girl with hair full of tentacles in the purest Japanese idol style. The truth is that this is a very different transformation from the Cthulhu that we all have in mind, and perhaps therein lies its true appeal. As for the figure, it has excellent finishes and a unique style that makes it very attractive to all kinds of collectors.
This is the third figure made by the Chinese company FENGRONG and the truth is that they are increasingly making better figures. The only problem is that, as it is still a small company, they only distribute and sell their figures in China. This is not due to the will of the company but due to logistical problems, so we hope that in the future they can offer us their figures internationally and that we can all enjoy their figures.
