eStream presents us, within the Shibuya Scramble Figure collection, the 1/7 scale figure dedicated to Ai Hoshino, Aquamarine Hoshino and Ruby Hoshino.
In it, the sculptor Roice Entertainment has managed to represent three types of expressions and situations in one. On the one hand we have Ai whose pose and dynamism makes her transmit the passion for music that she manages to convey to us in the Oshi no Ko manga. On the other hand we have the two little ones, Aquamarine and Ruby, giving everything with bright eyes and bars of light in his hands ready to cheer up his mother.
The painting, by the artist Narumi, manages to convey the shine in the characters' eyes just as we could see in the anime. In addition, the three figures have separate star-shaped pedestals so that we can display them however we like.
Oshi no Ko is one of the standout anime of the Spring 2023 season. Created by Aka Akasaka, the author of Kaguya-sama: Love is War, and Mengo Yokoyari, Oshi no Ko tells the story of Aqua and Ruby, two children who are reborn as the children of the idol Ai Hoshino, whom they deeply admired when they were fans. The anime's title has a double meaning: it can be interpreted as "support your favorite idol" or "the children of the idol you support." With a well-developed plot and high-quality animation, Oshi no Ko has become one of the most popular and acclaimed anime of this year, standing out for its realistic and dark portrait of the Japanese entertainment industry.
