The Tsume Art company surprises us today by presenting the impressive bust that it dedicates to Monkey D. Luffy, the protagonist of the well-known anime series "One Piece", and that it offers us within its new line MUB (My Ultimate Bust), collection of life-size busts representing the most emblematic characters of world pop culture.
As you can see, Tsume offers us a most impressive bust of Monkey D. Luffy. Impressive not only for its large size, because, as is characteristic of MUBs, Luffy has been sculpted on a real scale (1/1), resulting in a 72 cm high bust, but also for the high quality of details with which he has been represented and that allow us to enjoy a real jewel that every fan of "One Piece" would be delighted to add to his collection.
A large statue that represents Monkey D. Luffy and his path to become the King of the Pirates and in which we can see him just at the moment when he faces Big Mom and Kaido in the Wano Country arc. Also, to represent the long journey of him to reach this moment, notice that, in the statue, we can see many references to Luffy's iconic memories from different stages of his life.
In general, this beauty will be sculpted in resin in its entirety, but, for greater stability, to reduce the possibility of breaking more fragile parts and to avoid sharp areas, some parts can be recreated with other materials (ABS, PVC, ...). Note that the bust also includes metal rods and magnets to facilitate assembly.
Another notable detail of this bust is that it comes with an interchangeable forearm with another fist that will allow us to put Luffy using the Ryou Haki. In addition, to make the reddish transparent resin that surrounds his fist radiate the fire blow that Luffy is about to perform, it has LED lighting.
