Hong Kong toy brand threezero officially announced its latest Transformers-themed product , "Shockwave," yesterday (16th) for its "MDLX" series of posable robots ! The series will be released simultaneously with a general version and a limited edition available on the threezero website and at select events. Pre-orders will begin at 9 AM on December 18, 2025, with shipping expected to start in the third quarter of 2026.
This Shockwave figure, presented in the MDLX series, stands approximately 18.5 cm tall and boasts 55 points of articulation. The overall design was handled by threezero's art director, Kelvin Sau, who reinterpreted the classic G1 design with a more modern and refined mechanical aesthetic. Transparent materials are used on the eyes and chest, allowing a glimpse inside. The vibrant, cool-toned blue, purple, and silver color scheme, combined with extensive mechanical detailing, showcases a hardcore mechanical charm! Weapon accessories include a newly constructed Hyperflux Cannon, a detachable backpack, a laser cannon, and multiple interchangeable hands.
It's worth mentioning that the high-flow cannon can be directly swapped with the left or right hand, or it can be installed on the outside of the forearm. The laser cannon can also be freely switched between the left and right hands, showcasing both powerful firepower and versatility in handling.
The limited edition includes four pairs of purple transparent replacement hands.
The Transformers MDLX Shockwave's
suggested retail price is not yet announced. Product dimensions: approximately 18.5 cm tall.
Expected shipping begins in Q3 2026.
