As a special project for the 15th anniversary of Hatsune Miku's birth, Hatsune Miku has been made into a three-dimensional figure as "Polaris ver." based on the "STAR" themed illustrations and music by illustrator Rella and Vocaloid P Kairiki Bear. The illustration that is the basis for this work has a motif of Polaris (North Star). It embodies the idea of a guidepost shining in the night sky and a guiding presence. This is a work that makes you look back on the 15 years with Hatsune Miku, and makes you feel like walking into the future together.
Gradient painted clear parts are used for the cloak draped over the right shoulder and Hatsune Miku's twin tails. By using clear parts to create a sense of lightness, the overall finish is harmonious with the solid feel of the pedestal.
The theme of this work is the North Star (Polaris). The Big Dipper is placed on the waist, Cassiopeia on the head, and the North Star on the chest to match the actual starry sky, and the flag is decorated with the night sky and space, and the tip of the flag is decorated with the emblem of Iris, which indicates authority.
The solid pedestal, which resembles a celestial globe and a compass, is like a map of the future she is showing. The constellations of the zodiac are engraved on the frame of the pedestal, embellishing the world view with the image of Polaris (North Star).
