American toy brand Super7, in its Toho ULTIMATES! series themed around Toho monsters, has released a new product: "Super Godzilla (16 Bit) ," a replica of the 1990s video game Super Godzilla. The suggested retail price is $95.00 USD. Pre-orders are currently available on the Super7 website, with a planned release in December 2025.
Super Godzilla, a Super Nintendo Entertainment System game, was released in 1993 and in North America in 1994. Players control Godzilla as it navigates through levels, destroying obstacles and defeating enemies. In the game, Super Godzilla (also known as Mega Godzilla) is a mutated form enhanced by King Ghidorah cells, possessing immense attack power; the Space Godzilla appearing in Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla was designed based on this concept.
The Super7 " Toho ULTIMATES! Super Godzilla 16 Bit " action figure is based on the character's appearance in the game. Standing 8.5 inches tall (approximately 21 cm) and 15.8 inches long (approximately 39 cm), it recreates the enhanced form of Super Godzilla! Its deep purplish-grey body is accentuated by striking fluorescent green on its chest and abdomen. The horns on its head and the crystal-like protrusions on its shoulders are incredibly cool, while its fiery red eyes and sharp teeth exude a powerful aura!
The replacement parts include a roaring head with two pairs of claws in different hand gestures, along with flexible articulated joints, recreating the powerful look from the game!
