Following the " Oguri Hat " series, Japanese model manufacturer Phat! has announced another new product: the "Double Bell Light 1/7 scale model" based on the popular manga "Uma Musume Pretty Derby" . It is scheduled for release in September 2026.
Uma Musume Pretty Derby is a spin-off manga series derived from Cygames' popular multimedia project, Uma Musume Pretty Derby. It is adapted from the racing career of Oguri Hattori , a racehorse known as the "Gray-haired Monster" in Japan in the 1980s . It depicts the legendary racehorse Hattori from Gifu, who rises to prominence in the countryside and is selected by student council president Rudolf to transfer to Central Tereson Academy to compete in the Shining Series. With the goal of "becoming the number one racehorse girl in Japan", she engages in a passionate battle with elite racehorse girls from all over the world.
The "Double Bell Light" character, featured in this product , is a close friend of the protagonist , Oguri Hattori, from their time at Kasamatsu Tressen Academy. While not as athletic as Oguri Hattori and his friends, she excels academically and logistically. Her family owns the renowned sporting goods store "Light-Sports," with branches throughout the country, giving her extensive knowledge of running shoes and other sports equipment. She not only helps Oguri Hattori choose the most suitable running shoes but also personally forges horseshoes for her. After Oguri Hattori transfers to Central Tressen Academy, she immediately takes the Central Academy's support trainee exam and easily passes, continuing her vital support role for Oguri Hattori.
The "Double Bell Wright 1/7 Scale Figure" brings to life her in her Tressen Academy uniform, holding a folder in her hands, perfectly capturing her large, watery eyes, soft, curly short hair, and signature "B" hair clip from the original work. Details such as her tail close to her body and her slightly tucked chin showcase her gentle, honest, and somewhat introverted yet adorable personality. The figure features detailed shading and gradient painting on the hair, uniform, and other areas, enhancing the three-dimensionality of the hair strands and wrinkles. The base incorporates Double Bell Wright's design, featuring rich patterns such as the "B" hair clip, ribbons, and horseshoes.
