INFORMATION
The monster models "Daei 30cm Series" produced by Japan's PLEX company and distributed by X-PLUS company, which are based on special effects monsters under Daiei Film Company , have announced that the latest product "Gamera (1995) RENEWAL Ver." from the movie "Gamera Big Monster Air Battle" is expected to be released in September 2025.
Gamera , the monster that appears in the Heisei trilogy , is set to be a biological weapon created by a super ancient civilization about 150 million years ago using ancient technology and the earth's life energy "Mana" to defeat the man-eating monster "Gaos" . Gamera can combine oxygen with the plasma energy in its body to spit out powerful "fireballs". After the war, Gamera's body structure will begin to evolve during the rest period. The appearance of Gamera in each appearance will change slightly, and the combat ability will become stronger and stronger.
"Daei 30cm Series Gamera (1995) RENEWAL Ver." is a refurbished version of the regular version released in 2013. It retains the previous modeling and reproduces the original appearance in the Heisei trilogy with a total height of approximately 25 cm. The head that still retains the Showa Gamera style, the wrinkles on the skin of the whole body, and the complex and fine patterns on both sides of the tortoise shell are delicately portrayed. In particular, the teeth and tongue inside the mouth are made to look very biological, and rich colors are used to express the moist mucous membrane.
The main modification is the overall color painting. Taking the scene of the final battle in the play as the image, the gloss and color of the paint on the whole body have been readjusted, making the surface texture closer to that of a living creature. The details such as the wrinkles and lines on the body surface are clearer, and the color change from the body to the shell is more natural.
