American toy brand McFarlane Toys is releasing its 60th addition to the McFarlane Collector Edition series – the "Hellboy" 7-inch action figure. The suggested retail price is $34.99, and it is scheduled for release in late May 2026.
Hellboy is a classic comic book series created by American cartoonist Mike Mignola in 1993. The story tells of a small red demon accidentally summoned during a Nazi black magic experiment at the end of World War II. He is adopted by Allied theologian Professor Trevor Bruttenholm, who comes to thwart the experiment, and named "Hellboy." As an adult, with American support, he joins the Paranormal Investigation and Defense Agency (BPRD), becoming a powerful force against evil spirits and Nazi remnants.
This Hell Monster doll stands approximately 18 centimeters tall. The head sculpt meticulously recreates the simple yet powerful design from the comics, while the geometric style faithfully reproduces his muscular physique and asymmetrical hands. The rough surface and black ink lines further enhance the original artwork's lines and shadow aesthetics. The costume is crafted from real fabric, faithfully recreating the iconic long coat and delivering a high-quality look that perfectly captures the classic image from Mike Mignola's work.
