From the TV anime "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross," the VF-1S Battroid Valkyrie with Super Pack attached is being made into a 1/72 scale plastic model kit from Max Factory's PLAMAX series! Scheduled for release in September 2026.
This is the machine that the main character, Ichijo Hikaru, pilots later in the story. By deliberately eliminating transformation, we have achieved powerful proportions that respect the image from the design drawings and when it appears in the anime. Each part is molded in nine colors, and by simply applying water transfer decals, you can recreate the realistic appearance just like in the story.
Polycaps are used for each joint, allowing for smooth posing, and the micro missile pods on the arms are newly sculpted to resemble the shape seen in the TV version.
Six "reaction munitions" are also included as under-wing armaments.
Another nice feature is that it comes with a figure of Hayase Misa in the same scale.
