INFORMATION
From the TV anime "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross," the VF-1J Armored Valkyrie will be joining Max Factory's "PLAMAX" plastic model series. It is scheduled for release in May 2026.
Each part is molded in six colors, and simply assembling and applying water slide decals creates a realistic finish. Polycaps are used for each joint, allowing for smooth posing. Furthermore, by deliberately omitting mechanisms for transformation and detaching armored equipment, the figure retains the powerful, cohesive appearance seen in the design drawings and anime.
The hatches of each weapon container can be opened or closed, allowing you to recreate the state in which all micro missiles are fired. You can also recreate the memorable scene from episode 9 of the TV anime, "Miss Macross."
