INFORMATION
The two-seater Valkyrie "VF-1D" piloted by protagonist Hikaru Ichijo in the first episode of the TV anime "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross" is now available in the "PLAMAX" series! Scheduled for release in February 2026.
This item achieves details that combine a sense of rhythm and density while keeping the number of parts to a minimum. The joints between parts are set in as inconspicuous areas as possible, and there is ample space for glue to ensure each unit fits securely into its designated position. The positions and angles of the parts are well-defined, resulting in a model with an extremely high sense of rigidity after completion.
The D-type exclusive parts, such as the nose, cockpit area, and upper fuselage, are constructed using new molds. It comes with figures of Hikaru Ichijo and Lynn Minmay in seated positions that can be placed in the cockpit. Each part is molded in one of five colors, so simply assembling it and applying stickers and decals will create a realistic finish. As an added bonus, it also comes with a part that allows you to hang the cockpit unit from another VF-1.
