Mattel Creations, the online retailer of fan-created merchandise under the American toy company Mattel, has officially unveiled a new product themed around the popular animated film "Kpop Witcher"—the "HUNTR/X Rumi/Mira/Zoe <What It Sounds Like>" doll set. The suggested retail price is $150 USD. Pre-orders will open on the Mattel Creations website at 9:00 AM Pacific Time on November 12, 2025, with shipping expected in October 2026.
Released on Netflix in June 2025, *K-Pop Demon Hunters* is an animated film produced by Sony Pictures Animation. It tells the story of the popular South Korean girl group HUNTR/X, who inherit the mission of demon hunters from previous generations, engaging in activities as a popular girl group while secretly hunting demons lurking among humans. The film garnered immense popularity upon its release, and its theatrical premiere in August, featuring a sing-along version, topped the box office within just two days. Recently, it was announced that a sequel will be released in 2029!
This doll set is inspired by the HUNTR/X members' performance of "What It Sounds Like" at the end of the movie. Mattel uses its years of experience in the Barbie & High School series to recreate Rumi, Mila, and Zoe's appearances in the film. The costumes are made of high-quality fabric and are tailored to recreate the iconic white and gold color scheme of their performance outfits. Hair transplant technology is used to meticulously reproduce the hairstyles of the three characters. Rumi's demon mark and the members' makeup are also meticulously recreated!
Each figure features 11 points of articulation and comes with the three characters' signature weapons: the Four Yin Sword, the Curved Blade, and the Divine Blade, allowing them to be displayed in poses reminiscent of their battles against demons in the series! Furthermore, an official certificate of authenticity is included, along with an exquisite display box and dust cover to perfectly showcase the powerful charm of HUNTR/X, capable of turning the soul gate to gold!
