MONDO, a well-known poster design and toy company, will launch a "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" themed soft rubber toy - "Slash". The reference retail price is US$110, and it is limited to 1,000 units worldwide. Pre-orders and release time will be announced soon!
Slash first appeared in the 20th episode of the fourth season of the 1987 animated version of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" titled "Slash - The Evil Turtle From Dimension X". He was originally a pet turtle secretly raised by Beepba. Because Beepba and Rocksteady wanted to use people to help them clean the Technodrome, they secretly transformed him into a mutant turtle without the knowledge of Shredder and Kraang. Unexpectedly, he later disobeyed Beepba's orders and was teleported to Earth. In his first confrontation with the Ninja Turtles, he demonstrated his powerful strength and was able to crush four of them at once.
This Slash stands approximately 21.6 cm tall and is inspired by classic Ninja Turtles animation, manga style, and Japanese soft rubber toys. The stylized carving shows Slash's sturdy body and the texture of his shell. The sharp claws and teeth are also delicately reproduced. The design of the different-sized eyes makes him look even more violent. The details such as the shoulder armor, the skull on the belt, and the claw marks on the chest are presented for you to admire!
The accessories include a variety of weapons that can be stored in the turtle shell, such as the Mutant Mace, Psycho Sai, Nasty Nunchaku, and Razor-Spiked Gnarly Knife. They can be combined with the " Leonardo/Donatello ", " Michelangelo " and " Raphael " released in the previous soft plastic series!
