MONDO, a well-known poster design and toy company, has once again launched a new product based on the classic American animation "ThunderCats" after "LionCats" - a 1/6 scale action figure of "Mumm-Ra". The reference retail price is US$280. It will be available for limited-time pre-order on the MONDO official website from noon on May 20, 2025 to 11 a.m. on June 20, Central Time, and is expected to be released in December 2025!
The main villain of ThunderCats, Demon King Mummy, is the undead incarnation of the evil Ancient Spirit, a wizard and demon priest who often uses mutants as pawns to attack the ThunderCats and their gang. Initially, the Mummy's goal was to steal and use the ThunderCats, but this goal soon turned into the core of the entire plot - to completely destroy the ThunderCats!
This 1/6 scale mummy action figure is about 35.5 cm tall. It is modeled after the shapes in animations, comics and other works. The angry look in the head sculpture is chilling. The sculpture restores the strong muscle lines, and uses high-quality fabrics to cut and sew details such as the crotch cloth, cloak and bandages!
The accessories include two replacement head sculptures, four pairs of replacement hands, a helmet, a Sphere of Seti, as well as classic swords, daggers, the Sword of Plun-Darr, and a flaming blade. The limited-time version will also include an additional all-mighty head sculpture, a collapsed all-mighty head sculpture, and an all-mighty helmet, as well as his beloved dog Ma-Mutt, which can be paired with the previously released lion and cat ornaments to recreate the scene of a powerful battle!
