MONDO, a well-known poster design and toy company, has once again launched a "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" themed soft rubber toy - "Dr. Fly" (Baxter Stockman). The reference retail price is US$150. It will be available for pre-order on the MONDO Shop official website at 12:00 noon Central Time on March 20, 2025, and is expected to be shipped in September 2025!
Shredder first appeared with the other turtle brothers in the first Ninja Turtles comic that was independently published by the turtle fathers. His appearance was inspired by a trapezoidal cheese grater, so he was named "Shredder". The original setting did not actually intend for Shredder to be the turtles' main villain for a long time. It was only because of the unprecedented success of the 1987 TV animation that most of the subsequent spin-off works adopted this setting.
This time, the Super Shredder soft-gel toy is once again conceptually designed by the famous toy designer and artist James Groman. Its size has reached an astonishing 31.3 cm, far exceeding all the characters in the previous Ninja Turtles soft-gel series. It presents Shredder in a unique style, becoming extremely powerful after using the mutant slime. His muscles seem to be about to explode at any time, and his silver armor looks even more violent, making him look quite difficult to approach!
The sculpture restores the veins of the muscles and the wrinkles of the clothes, and the cracks on the armor are also exquisitely reproduced! The painted parts are sprayed with darker shadows to make the overall light and shadow contrast more obvious, and the texture of the armor is restored through metallic silver paint. In addition, the red pupils of the eyes and the bloodshot whites of the eyes are reproduced in more detail, as if they are about to go berserk at any time! The accessories also come with a green fireball special effect piece, a mace, a mutant slime jar and a cute little turtle for display, and can be played with the four previously released turtles and other Ninja Turtles series characters!
