MONDO, a well-known poster design and toy company, recently unveiled a new product themed around the movie "Godzilla vs. Hedora"—the "Godzilla & Hedora Limited Edition" soft vinyl set. The suggested retail price is $250 USD, and only 500 sets will be available. It is now available for pre-order on the MONDO SHOP website!
The monster Hedora, who appeared in the 1971 film *Godzilla vs. Hedora*, was originally a mineral that flew from space, but later became a nuisance monster after absorbing too much hazardous waste discharged from factories. Although he is a black and smelly waste monster in the movie, after the film's release, in order to cater to overseas toy sales and consider product costs and profits, various colors of Hedora soft vinyl toys were released. Toy enthusiasts are certainly familiar with the colorful Hedora figures!
This soft vinyl set combines modern aesthetics with the retro feel of 70s monster movies. Utilizing the previously released alternate-color versions, it features uniquely sculpted proportions that perfectly recreate Godzilla and Hedora's appearances from the series! The Godzilla part depicts the scene at the end of the story where Godzilla rips two white eyeballs (some sources interpret them as life cores) from Hedora's body, while Hedora's powerful, standing posture is perfectly reproduced! The color scheme references the original colors used in the series and includes a building scene with chimney effects, Hedora's popped-eye accessory, and Godzilla's closed-eye accessory, allowing you to recreate the battle scenes from the movies in your home!
