The "Soukai Shoujo Garden" series, a collaboration between Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya and illustrator En Morikura , has announced a new product, "Ichijo Seira [Cheerleader Costume]", scheduled for release in February 2026.
Hoshira Ichijo attends Reihō High School and is a cheerleader who loves to cheer on anyone who tries hard. She's a doting, mom-like girl who enjoys taking care of her friends Emma and Rui. She has a carefree, sunny personality and a strong sense of justice. She's usually not angry, but she can become quite formidable when protecting her close friends and family. Hoshira, who is skilled at cooking, currently works at a diner. Her goal is to become a stylist, like the fairy godmother in Cinderella, making the main characters even more radiant and beautiful.
"Ichijo Seira [Cheerleader Outfit]" recreates the figure in a cheerleader outfit using newly designed parts. The flowing skirt is reproduced using a double-layered structure with blue and yellow parts, and comes with two interchangeable parts for a static pose and a dynamic pose. The blue lines around the collar of the top are pre-painted, giving the unpainted model a very high level of finish. The more complex hair style is also the same as the uniform version, with the purple highlights in the bangs finished using the molded color of a separate part, and the side ponytail also features a complex hair tie structure, giving it a light and bouncy feel.
With its movable joints from the chest to the waist, it allows for flexible and expansive forward and backward bending poses. The ball joint connecting parts in the neck are designed to slide back and forth, enhancing the performance of head movements. In addition, the hands and feet are equipped with integrated "fixed pose parts," including hands and legs that are bent at large angles and hands that are fully extended. The bending angles are greater than those of the movable parts, and no seams or joints are visible, resulting in more diverse and natural poses.
The package includes four completely new painted/unpainted face plates, featuring various designs: a "favorite face" for someone they love, a friendly "smiling face," a mischievous "cunning face," and a slightly disappointed "sad face." The two essential cheerleading pom-poms are made of five pieces each, with slight differences in design between the left and right hands. The internal 3mm diameter grips ensure a secure hold for the character's hands.
