The official Megami Device blog, Megami Development Room, announced that pre-orders for the Yggdrasis Garm Ripper and Megami Device MSG Yggdrasis Garm Ripper Idea Decal Set will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
Yggdrasis Garm Ripper
The "Yggdrasis" series combines characters and creatures from Norse mythology with a hard military design. This long-awaited Block 2 compatible series is the work of Nidy-2D-, the designer behind the "Shura" and "Koubou" series. The first unit, "Garm Ripper," is designed as an all-around powerful megami at close to medium range, equipped with an assault rifle and multiple daggers as its main weapons.
The dagger attached to the ankle can be held in the hand. The rifle can be worn on the back using a special rail hanger. The night vision goggles feature a flip-up mechanism and are recreated with interchangeable bangs (the yellow lenses are user-painted). The rifle is a Block 2 specification that can be firmly gripped by simply inserting it into the weapon-holding wrist. Three magazines are included, two of which can be stored in the magazine pouch on the side of the thigh. The rifle's receiver can be transformed into a handgun by separating the jacket and stock, and the small shield carried on the back can be inserted into the wristband part with a 3mm hole.
By combining the multiple backpack, shield, and four daggers on the back, you can recreate "Gauntlet Mode." The sharp claws used to slice through opponents are why it's called "Ripper." Another notable feature is the sophisticated design of the mechanical legs inherited from the "Shura" series. The sleek shins feature as many joint holes as possible.
It comes in skin color A and uses the Block2-M model. Everything except the chest and pants can be painted in the same skin color, allowing for a variety of play styles, such as custom costumes and cloth clothing. It also comes with three basic faces: "Normal," "Threatening," and "Smiling," printed and pre-painted. It also includes three flat faces without sculpting and hair parts without animal ears.

Decals for the "Yggdrasis Garm Ripper" are also released at the same time. It also comes with eye colors and facial expression decals that are not included with the face included in the Garm kit, allowing you to enjoy a variety of Garm expressions by combining them. It also comes with weapon markings. Of course, it can be used with various "Megami Device" series.
