The "MSG" series of assembled model modification parts launched by Japanese model maker Kotobukiya has announced that a new product "Heavy Weapon Kit 52 Gunblade Spear 2 Black Ver." is expected to be released in December 2024.
The Gunblade Lancer is a popular model released in 2016 as the twelfth product of the heavy weapon set. It is a composite weapon with separation, combination, and deformation mechanisms. It is designed to be able to freely disassemble each part and reproduce the deformation by changing the combination. In addition to the basic "Gunblade Cavalry" form, there are also various form changes such as rifles, double swords, long-handled axes, short axes, large swords, etc., which can correspond to Kotobukiya's skeleton mechas, mecha girls, and goddess devices. ...and other assembled model series for transformation.
"Gunblade 2 Black Ver." is a [TOKYO Mark] brand product produced in Japan in cooperation with Kotobukiya and Kikuchi Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Use the same parts as the 46/47 bullet , but change the molding color of the parts to black and transparent red. Some detailed modeling, part segmentation and color separation have been changed to make up for the color separation of some parts that could not be achieved in the old version, and the more streamlined flame-shaped blade special effects. The shape and division of the long handle have also been changed. Although it does not have a hatchet mode like the old version, it includes "Flame Spear Ax", "Dual Swords", "Short Sword", "Burst (Full Parts)"... All 8 modes are richer than the old version.
