As you will remember, about a year ago we presented you with the new figure that Kotobukiya dedicated to Poison Ivy (Poison Ivy in Spain), one of the most iconic antagonist characters in the Batman universe, and that he offered us within his line Bishoujo statue based on a Shunya Yamashita's new illustration, the DC COMICS Bishoujo from Poison Ivy Returns.
Well now, the company surprises us by presenting a new version of this figure sculpted by Yoshiki Fujimoto that leaves behind the sweetest and most charming aspect of the original illustration of Shunya Yamashita to give us a more evil aura. On this occasion, therefore, the sculpture of the statue is the same that Yoshiki Fujimoto sculpted in the regular version of the figure, but they have changed the expression of his face to show, more obviously, the dangerous thoughts of Poison Ivy.
In addition to this obvious change in Poison Ivy's expression, notice that Kotobukiya has also decided to vary the coloring of the figure. Notice that the green skin and reddish hair of Poison Ivy's original appearance in the comics has now been recreated. Furthermore, the monstrous giant plant she is sitting on has also been repainted with a coloration that gives it a more poisonous touch.
So all those of you who ran out of the original DC COMICS Bishoujo from Poison Ivy Returns, or those who prefer this new version, now have a new opportunity to get hold of it. Of course, remember that this version is exclusive, in Japan, by AmiAmi and Kotobukiya Shop (in the US it is exclusive to Diamond PX).
