Kenelephant, a Japanese toy company, has announced the seventh installment of its high-quality soft vinyl collection, " Osamu Tezuka Character Soft Vinyl Collection ," featuring various characters from the works of Osamu Tezuka, the "God of Manga." The seventh piece is a "Three-Eyed Boy" themed item: " Sofvi Collection 007 Sailor Hosuke !" The suggested retail price is 9,350 yen, and pre-orders will open on the official website starting December 23, 2025, with a planned release in June 2026.
Osamu Tezuka's shonen manga *The Three-Eyed Child* (三つ目がとおる) uses ancient civilization and technology as its main storyline. It depicts the story of Hosuke Sharaku , a descendant of the ancient three-eyed race. He appears to be an innocent, foolish, and even somewhat dim-witted middle school student, often bullied and always protected by his childhood friend, Chiyoko Tochiko. However, when the patch concealing his third eye on his forehead is removed, revealing the eye, he transforms into a genius demon prince with terrifying superpowers and a destructive urge.
The " Tezuka Osamu Character Soft Vinyl Collectible Sofvi Collection 007 Sailor Hosuke " soft vinyl figure is based on the original manga. Standing only 13cm tall, it recreates the elegant and crisp lines characteristic of Tezuka Osamu's artwork, showcasing his third eye on his forehead and a fierce expression, perfectly capturing his pose as he uses his superpowers against the doctor's subordinates in "The Jar of Chaos"!
