INFORMATION
This Type-3 Jigoku kit has a strong sense of dynamism and a very clean design. A particularly unique feature is its dorsal fin, which resembles the Metal Build EX version. Creating a mechanical kit requires careful attention to the molding process to avoid highlighting any imperfections after applying metallic paint. Extensive research was done before painting, including rewatching the movie. The base was painted a matte silver, visually enhancing its weight without overemphasizing shadows. Compared to the movie design, the joints are designed to be more muscular, with the surface using mechanical elements to represent muscle fibers. Different colors were used for different mechanical parts to emphasize three-dimensionality and create the illusion of mechanical muscles. The backpack and weapons on the arms are painted with a satin metallic finish and shadows to enhance their three-dimensionality. More color separation was used for different parts to increase color richness. The backpack nozzles were painted to resemble the high-speed jet propulsion effect of the Type-3 Jigoku in the movie, complementing the kit's dynamic nature. The teeth, compared to the single-color white in the movie, are painted to emphasize a more biological feel. Hope you enjoy this new WF2026W kit!
