The second film in the DCU universe's "Gods and Monsters" series, *Supergirl*, will be released on June 26th! Supergirl Kara Zor-El witnesses the destruction of her home planet Krypto and loses all hope for the future in despair. However, when her beloved superdog Krypto is critically ill, she finally awakens and embarks on a transformative journey of self-redemption.
Hot Toys, with its professional figure-making techniques and high aesthetic standards, meticulously portrays Kara Zor-El, played by rising Australian actress Milly Alcock. The head sculpt accurately captures her resolute yet resigned expression, complemented by independently movable eyes and layered long, golden curls, perfectly capturing the character's classic charm.
The doll stands approximately 27.5cm tall and features 30 points of articulation. Its legs are made of seamless silicone, showcasing the fluid lines of a superheroine's figure.
The costume design includes a brown hooded coat and a red cape underneath, both featuring internally moldable wire and meticulous stitching details that delicately depict fabric folds and seam textures. Removing the coat reveals a red and blue battle suit made of highly elastic fabric with precision embossing technology, presenting a Kryptonian futuristic feel. The red and yellow "S" shield of the Eldar family on the chest symbolizes "hope." The red over-the-knee boots are crafted from genuine leather, with a flattering fit and excellent texture. The doll comes with a wealth of accessories, including black sunglasses, a pocket watch, a music player, a drink, and a super dog named Krypton in a red cape. A movie-themed backdrop and base are also included, witnessing the Kryptonian girl's transformative journey.
