The world-renowned Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys has once again unveiled a new product based on the movie "Iron Man 2" - the "Mark IV (Colorful Geometric Suit)" 1/6 scale collectible action figure. The reference retail price is HK$2,680. There are only 3,000 sets available worldwide. Pre-orders will be available at designated channels and it is expected to be released in the second to third quarter of 2025!
The "Mark IV" appeared in the movie "Iron Man 2". It was the iron power suit that Tony wore when he jumped from a plane and landed at the venue in the opening scene. The overall design is slightly modified based on the Mark III. It is more streamlined, simpler and lighter than the Mark III, and has a significant improvement in flight speed. It is also the prototype of the later Mark VI. According to Tony's statement and personal demonstration, the Mark IV can also filter urine into drinking water.
This fantasy geometric battle suit is based on the shape of the Mark IV battle suit. It is about 32.5 cm tall and has 30 movable parts. It uses geometric cutting to reinterpret the streamlined shape of the Mark IV, and uses exquisite electroplating fantasy painting technology to color it, so that the lines of the armor outlined after cutting can shine with gorgeous colorful light under the light! The helmet, chest, reactor and palms still have LED lighting function, and some armor can also be disassembled to display the internal mechanical structure, providing different display options!
