The colossal underwater shadow returns! Tiamat from *Godzilla vs. Kong: Rise of an Empire* appears in Haiya Toys' EXQUISITE BASIC series.
*Godzilla vs. Kong: Rise of an Empire* was released on March 29, 2024. In the film, Kong establishes his new territory in the inner world and searches for other members of his kind. Godzilla continues to maintain order between humans and the Titans. Suddenly, a mysterious signal from the inner world shatters the peace, and Kong and Godzilla prepare to join forces once again to fight a colossal threat lurking in the world.
This new EXQUISITE BASIC series Tiamat posable figure, based on the original CG design from the film, presents its long, winding, deep-sea Titan form in three dimensions. The figure measures approximately 40 cm in length (from head to tail) when straightened. Its body is constructed from a semi-transparent base with multi-layered paint, faithfully reproducing Tiamat's iconic green scales, pink layered dorsal fin, and petal-shaped crown fin structure. Dense layers of spines extending from the head to the tail reinforce its imposing deep-sea titan image. The joint design utilizes a multi-segmented structure to reproduce Tiamat's agile and aggressive linear movements, while the tail incorporates a wire-coated structure, maintaining
overall continuity and providing a more natural bending radius. The crown fin on the head can also be adjusted according to the pose, allowing it to recreate various iconic poses from the film, easily capturing memorable moments.
