The "MODEROID" series of assembly models launched by the Japanese brand MECHA SMILE announced that the latest product "Coffin" from the anime "Silent Unknown" is expected to be released in December 2025.
The Japanese science fiction animation "Silent Unknown" aired in 2000 describes that the earth was attacked by aliens in 2059, so the human army organized a special force "Funeral Team" and used five of the most advanced variable mobile weapons "Coffin (SARG)" to fight against them. This fighter uses an "alien motor" developed using alien technology as its power. It has a flight capability that surpasses existing fighters on Earth, as well as a transformation mechanism that can switch between fighter and robot forms. It can use a liquid explosive rifle to attack the alien's weak point, the "head."
The "MODEROID Coffin" is made using multi-color molded parts and stickers. When completed, it is about 14 cm tall and has a shape close to the setting in the drama, reproducing the handsome armor like a stealth fighter and the characteristic sturdy limbs. It also comes with water transfer stickers that reproduce the logos of Units 1 to 5. Each joint has a flexible movable design, which allows you to play with dynamic fighting postures.
By replacing some parts, the fighter's form after the coffin transformation can be reproduced, and landing gear replacement parts for use in the parked state are also included. The cockpit is available in either single-seat or double-seat configurations, and comes with two pilot mini-dolls that can fit into the cockpit. The armed parts include a rifle and a sword of kings. The rifle can be equipped with an electronic sight part and a cable part connected to the main body.
