The assembly model series "MODEROID" under Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY will launch the protagonist robot "Thunderbolt Robot" from the classic 1980s robot work "Thunderbolt Daylight" (Huxing Robot ダンガードA) in December 2025. The reference retail price is 7,900 yen.
"Planet Robot Danger A" was first broadcast in 1979 and was produced by Toei Animation of Japan. The show was first broadcast in Taiwan by CTS in 1986 under the name "Thunderbolt Sunlight". The story tells that the newly discovered tenth planet in the solar system, Planet Apollo, is rich in various resources. Dr. Ting (Oedo) plans to explore it, but Dr. Yuna (Doc Pla) is blinded by greed and attempts to sabotage the plan in order to monopolize it. The protagonist "Ichimonji Takuma" (Taiwanese translation: Wang Yinghan) is the pilot of Dangerdo A. In order to clear his father's charge of treason, he fights hard against the enemy together with the huge battle aircraft carrier Jasdam and others.
This assembly model of Thunderbolt Titans released by MODEROID has an overall height of about 18 cm. By replacing parts, it can be transformed into the flying state of "Thunderbolt Sunlight". The head parts are available in both transformable and non-transformable options. The chest can be opened to reproduce the state of firing the Balsa Cannon. As for weapon accessories, the signature double swords "COSMO ARROW" are of course indispensable, and can also be combined into a double gun spear "Double Shaft". A display stand is also included to show the flight status.
