F:NEX, a high-quality character brand under Furyu, a well-known Japanese prize toy manufacturer, announced that its latest product, "Lunlun 1/2 scale flocked soft vinyl figure," based on Nijisanji's virtual LIVER, is scheduled for release in September 2026.
Lunlun, a popular Nijisanji liver who debuted in June 2024, is a member of the group AYAKAKI (いずれ菖蒲か杜若). In the lore, she is a mysterious, 40cm long, omnivorous creature who came to Earth from an unknown place, lost her memory, and was contained by a research institute. Despite her extremely cute appearance and voice, she calls herself "AYAKAKI's Beast." She speaks politely and has a very strong vocabulary, and is also skilled in songwriting and drawing. Surprisingly, she has a strong liking for gyaru (gal) characters like Shion Kiyoka from *School Idolmaster*.
The "Lunlun 1/2 Scale Flocked Soft Rubber Model" recreates Choma's adorable sitting pose with her big, watery eyes and hands on her stomach, standing approximately 20cm tall. The eye parts are finished with a high-gloss paint to give them a watery texture, and the ω-shaped mouth is incredibly cute. The color painting accurately reproduces the gradient of the purple fur and the osmanthus pattern hidden on the back. The bell on the rope around her neck is not only painted with a metallic finish to give it a textured look, but it also makes a sound when shaken.
The product's most distinctive feature is the 0.6mm flocking finish applied to its entire surface, giving the soft rubber model a plush, doll-like texture. However, this also means extra care must be taken to prevent dust accumulation during storage; otherwise, cleaning will be troublesome once the flocking gets clogged with dust. The official recommendation is to display it in a dust-proof storage cabinet.
