Hong Kong-based model manufacturer FLAME TOYS' "Furai Model" series has released a new product from the classic Transformers animated series—the "Bumblebee G1 Ver." model kit. The suggested retail price is US$38, and it is expected to be released in June 2026!
Bumblebee was one of the first two Transformers characters to appear in the first episode of the Transformers animated series, which aired in 1984. In his disguise mode, he was a yellow Volkswagen Beetle and served as the Autobots' scout. His small size allowed him to flexibly carry out various reconnaissance missions!
This "Bumblebee G1 Ver." model kit stands approximately 13 cm tall and faithfully recreates Bumblebee's classic look from the animated series. While it doesn't have a transformation function, it perfectly reproduces the simple and sleek lines of the G1 style. The accessories include four sets of interchangeable hands, four interchangeable faces including a mask, and a pistol. The design, along with the pull-out hip joints and butterfly joints on the shoulders, allows for various stylish poses!
