CAPCOM, the Japanese company behind the CAPCOM FIGURE BUILDER Creator's Model series, which features high-quality finished models based on its game IPs, has announced a new product, "Hellfire Slug," based on the Monster Hunter Wilds series . The model is scheduled for release in November 2026.
The Hellfire Octopus is a large cephalopod monster residing at the apex of the Oil Gushing Valley ecosystem, known as "Black Flame" in the local legends of Aziz, the village of the Fire Kiln. They thrive in areas of concentrated heat, becoming particularly active during the anomalous weather phenomenon known as "Burning Fire," where they actively roam and their supple bodies allow them to move freely through the valley's narrow crevices. The Hellfire Octopus resembles a giant octopus covered in an oily film, and when excited, its body bursts into blazing flames. Its eight tentacles are covered in countless thorns, which not only enable its agile and rapid movement but also serve as powerful weapons for capturing prey and attacking enemies.
The "CFB Creator's Model Hellfire Slug" is made to resemble a scene of a fish clinging to rocks and pipes, with a total height of about 28 cm. The model meticulously depicts the terrifying head shape with its eyes emitting a blue glow, the rough skin texture and flames on its soft body, the countless thorns on its tentacles and the dripping tar. It also uses rich colors to show the thin film interference phenomenon reflected after the body is covered with an oil film.
