Chinese model brand CCSTOYS has officially released the new "ARTIFACT-X" series of robot-themed finished model products. The first product will be "Dark Getter" from the classic game "Getter Robo Battle" , which is expected to be released in December 2025.
The Black Getter , appearing exclusively in Getter Robo Battle, is a single-seat escort Getter robot piloted by the player's protagonist during a surprise attack on Saotome's research facility by insect hordes. Due to the urgency of the situation, this robot was assembled from spare parts, including the head of the True Getter-1, the body of the Getter Wyvern, the right arm of the Getter-2, and the left arm of the Getter Robo. While it lacks flight, burrowing, or transformation capabilities, it possesses the power to rival cutting-edge robots, unleashing powerful special moves like "Drill Blast" and "Dark Smash."
Compared to the previous "Artifact-X" series, the "ARTIFACT-X Black Gate" boasts a more manageable 20cm scale. Crafted using the same high-strength alloy movable frame, it incorporates a rich, modern aesthetic, featuring cracked armor, high-density details, and tall proportions. This rare, decisive battle version of the "Black Gate" is reinterpreted. The model features a variety of metallic colors throughout, including transparent blue parts, metallic black, and metallic silver, highlighting the differences in the aircraft's mechanical structure and illuminated areas.
The armament has also been significantly revised based on the original design. The back cape is divided into several wings, which can be extended widely by articulating axes, just like the real Getter 1. The right arm drill is larger, with a third hook added around it and a deployment mechanism. The left arm cannon has been significantly redesigned for a more realistic structure. Furthermore, the accessories include the Getter 1's "Getter Axe" and the Getter 3's "Retractable Arm," allowing for a variety of combat poses.
