[Artist Introduction]
Acky Bright is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator known for his unique "kawakakkoii" (cute yet cool) style. His works blend delicate lines and bold compositions, and are loved by audiences both domestically and internationally.
Since 2020, Acky Bright has been posting his work on social media, gradually gaining widespread attention. He has created artwork for numerous well-known brands, including McDonald's, Meta, BMW, DC Comics, and Netflix.
His first commercial art book, *B/W*, was published by PIE International in 2023, featuring approximately 200 selected works showcasing his artistic style and creative philosophy.
In addition, Acky Bright has held several solo exhibitions and live painting events. In October 2024, he held a solo exhibition titled "Acky Bright: Studio Infinity" at the Japan Cultural Center in New York, showcasing his new series KBK-18 and Ah-Un, which blend traditional Japanese art and theatrical elements.
His artwork often combines female figures with mechanical elements, creating a visual effect that is both soft and resilient, fully embodying a unique charm of "cute yet cool."
