BANDAI SPIRITS' collectible toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has officially announced the release of the latest 6-inch articulated figure in the "GUNDAM UNIVERSE" series, designed for Mobile Suit Gundam fans worldwide. The figure , "Sinanju," is based on the "Mobile Suit Gundam UC" series and is scheduled for release in June 2026.
The MSN-06S Sinanju was originally a prototype mobile suit developed by Anaheim Electronics to collect data on the performance of brainwave conduction frames. It used the thruster technology of the MSN-04 Sazabi and, like the RX-93 ν Gundam, employed a movable frame and brainwave conduction frame. Data from this machine was used to further develop the RX-0 Unicorn Gundam. However, in UC 0094, Anaheim secretly transferred two of these machines to the Neo Zeon remnants known as "The Sleeves." One of them became the personal mobile suit of leader Ful-Franto , its red paint and outstanding performance reminiscent of the "Red Comet" Char Aznable .
The "GUNDAM UNIVERSE Sinanju" also utilizes the newly improved "UNIVERSAL REACTION FRAME" articulated frame, which has been fully revamped since 2025. Compared to previous products in the same series, it offers a significantly increased range of articulation, allowing for more dynamic battle poses. The striking black and gold "sleeve" emblem on the red armor is reproduced with a gold paint finish. The armor design is based on the anime setting but incorporates series-original details, showcasing sharp styling on the shoulder armor, backpack, and other areas.
The accessories include three pairs of interchangeable hands, a beam rifle, two beam sword axes, and a shield. The beam sword axes can recreate the beam naginata mode or be mounted on the inside of the shield to unleash a giant beam blade. With its flexible articulated joints, it allows for cool combat scenes such as shooting, slashing, and Char's flying kick.
